Notes:
- These families originated in Oklahoma. When Lee was placed with Eileen (1955-1957) they lived outside Boise City, which is where Matt was born.
- Cal Stetson died after being struck by lightning while working on the crew which built the Elkhart and Santa Fe Railway.
- Elmer Clayton was also a widower. Lee’s “Aunt Sally” (from “Spiderweb”) was Elmer’s daughter from that first marriage. She was somewhat older than Matt, and migrated to California with her husband during the Dust Bowl.
